Call SI Baltic Sea Neighbourhood Programme

Funding

The Swedish Institute Baltic Sea Neighborhood Programme provides funding to projects in which Swedish organisations work on cross-border challenges and opportunities together with organisations from the EU countries from the Baltic Sea Region and countries in the EU’s Eastern Partnership. The programme offers Seed Funding and funding for Cooperation Projects.

The Seed Funding can be used for the preparation of applications for new funding or development for concepts and identification of partners for future cooperation. It is possible to apply for funding of up to SEK 400,000 for a project that should be completed within 15 months from the start of the project.

Applying Cooperation Projects can build networks and platforms, develop and test models and methods, provide input to policy and strategy ot build/spread knowledge and competence. The maximum amount of the funding is SEK 1,000,000 for a project that should be completed within 24 months.

A legal entity based in Sweden must be the main applicant and responsible for the project’s implementation and reporting, the partnership must include actors in at least three countries (including Swedish main applicant). The Call will start on 15 December. Find more information here.
