The basic training course "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship in the Creative Economy" organised by our partner non-commercial European-Russian InnoPartnership was held on 19 - 22 October in St. Petersburg.  The course was attended by representatives of the cultural and creative industries, small and medium-sized businesses, educational, research and charitable institutions.

The main goal of the course was to provide information support to specialists who plan to start their own business in the field of creative industries.

On the first day of the event, Igor Bushikhin, made a welcoming speech on behalf of the Committee on IT and Communications. During the four days of the course, participants together with the speakers Paoulich Anton, director of the PR Factor marketing agency, tutor of the Department of Technological Entrepreneurship at “RUSNANO” and Evgenia Tsybulko, managing partner of the Center for Open Systems and High Technologies, lecturer at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, tutor of the Department of Technological Entrepreneurship at “RUSNANO”, studied the following issues of the creative economy:

  • registration of an enterprise,
  • drawing up a business plan,
  • taxation issues,
  • sources of subsidies and grants,
  • correct accounting,
  • registration of employees,
  • copyright protection,
  • creative products promotion,
  • search and attraction of buyers in current situation.

The participants have an opportunity to study all the main steps of business development, considering the peculiarities of the cultural and creative industries. On the last day of the training, certificates of the course completion were awarded.
