Mariya Gabriel European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, will launch Culture Moves Europe in the presence of representatives of the cultural and creative sectors to celebrate the new mobility scheme and highlight its main objectives. Representatives of EU institutions and the Cultural Sector and Johannes Ebert (Secretary General of Goethe-Institut) will discuss the topic of supporting the mobility of emerging artists.
The new cultural mobility scheme Culture Moves Europe builds on the outcomes of I-Portunus pilot phase. i-Portunus supported the mobility of artists, creators and cultural professionals, implemented by consortia of cultural organisations.
