Open Call Deadline Cycle Up!

31 January 2024

Eager to address the matter at hand, the Goethe-Institut e.V. (Germany), along with Goethe-Institut Prag (Czechia), Goethe-Institut Bratislava (Slovakia), Goethe-Institut Estland (Estonia) partnered up with the Česká centra - Czech Centres (Czechia), Bomiasto (Poland), PUNKT (Slovakia) and the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 (Estonia).

Their joint efforts resulted in CYCLE UP! Sustainable Residency Programme, offering five artists residencies in cities located in the partners' home countries from May to September 2024! The one-month duration of each residency within this time period grants the selected artists the opportunity to create a project of political influence to increase sustainable mobility. A special opportunity for the selected artists is the contact to the local community and its decisionmakers.

The programme covers a monthly fee of 1500 EUR, accommodation and travel costs up to 400 EUR with sustainable travelling being expected. Fluency in English, and residency in a Creative Europe country are required.

If you want to use your influence as an artist for a sustainable cause, then click HERE for more information or to apply.
