Baltic Home Online Exhibition | Creative Ports Pilot

Scandinavian design is widely known, but the design of the rest of the Baltic Sea is not gives way to quality and creativity. The Baltic Home exhibition changes this by presenting unique furniture and functional design by artists from the Baltic Sea. The Baltic Sea is a sea of ​​many nations, therefore on display you will find exhibits from Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, Sweden and Poland.

The Baltic Sea countries are characterized by extraordinary potential and rich resources. There is a mixture ahead of us different cultures, different views that will merge and allow you to move to the Baltic home where you will find not only peace and relief. The organizers have created a place where you can take a break, feel closer to nature and design. They are inviting people from all over the world for a virtual walk around the Baltic Home online exhibition that allows to internationalize the creative sector without the need of travelling, safe and in the comfort of our home.

The virtual exhibition consists of three rooms: the terrace room, the fireplace room and the hall with 74 exhibits from 7 countries. Curators of the exhibition are Beata Kurcińska, Hanna Wysocka and Grzegorz Piaseczny. Producers are dr. Monika Klein, dr. Monika Spychalska-Wojtkiewicz. The exhibition took place physically on 29 September - 16 October in the historic villa of the Szczecin Incubator for Culture.

The online exhibition was created with a 360' shot by combining many frames into one. This technology creates an image that can be combined into the so-called Virtual walk.

The Baltic Home exhibition was created on the basis of the Creative Ports project carried out as part of the Program of European Territorial Cooperation - Interreg Baltic Sea Region 2014-2020 and co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund. Its main purpose is to support the sustainable development of the cultural, creative and internationalization of its representatives in the Baltic Sea Region.
