On 17 December at 18.00 CET, the Danish Cultural Institute in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania hosts the virtual literary event “Between the lines” focusing on young poets and their works and everyday lives in Denmark and Latvia.
During the event,the Danish poet Frederik Drescher Kluth (b. 1996) and the Latvian poet Kaspars Zalāns (b. 1994) will read their poems. Afterwards, they will discuss what it is like to be a young poet in their respective countries as well as discuss their literary work and the challenges and themes that they each thematise in their poems. The event will be streamed on the Danish Cultural Institute in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania’s Facebook page.
