The CCI Contact Desk is proud to announce an upcoming environmental camp this summer, brought to you by the UNESCO Associated Schools Network, the Tartu Loodusmaja and the Green School Program network in Estonia!
📅 Dates: August 18–20
📍 Location: Veldemani Holiday Home, Lake Võrtsjärv
This camp aims to strengthen young people's connections with society and nature, nurture creativity and green skills, and foster meaningful exchanges among peers from various regions of Estonia.
Who Can Participate?
This camp is for students in grades 7 and 8.
Workshop Topics Include:
- Presence, creativity, and nature
- Learning about species
- Advocacy and environmental activism
- Greenfluencing on social media
We are thrilled to host guest speakers, including Dr. Johanna Pareigis, an expert in outdoor education and democratic practices from Germany, as well as UNESCO youth ambassadors from the Baltic Sea countries.
Beyond workshops, attendees will enjoy activities such as swimming, playing, and discovering healthy, planet-friendly food in the scenic environment of Veldemani Holiday Home. Participants will also have the chance to explore Vaibla Linnujaam, conveniently located nearby.
