Culture Moves Europe supports cultural mobility by providing mobility grants in all 40 Creative Europe countries and is now open for applications with its Individual Mobility Action 3. It covers the sectors of architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, performing arts and visual arts.
Artists and cultural professionals planning to carry out a project with a partner of their choice in another Creative Europe country (not the one they reside in) are eligible to apply. It is possible to apply either as an individual or as a group of up to five people.
Two of the following goals should be pursued and thereby outlined in the proposal:
- to explore: to conduct creative and artistic research, to investigate, inspire and work on a specific theme or a new concept
- to create: to engage in a creative process seeking to produce a new piece of artistic/cultural work
- to learn: to enhance competences and skills through non-formal learning or collaboration with a specialist
- to connect: to develop a professional network, to strengthen the professional development, to engage with new audiences
The duration of the projects should be uninterrupted, between 7 and 40 days long for individual projects or between 7 and 14 days for group projects. Additionally, all projects must be finalised no later than 30 April 2025. The grants cover a partial daily allowance, travel costs, and include a variety of individual top-ups to facilitate a trip to a partnering Creative Europe country. The proposed projects are to be of explorative, connective, educative or creative nature and not exhibit an already existing work. Learn more and apply here.
(Final) Deadline: 30 November 2024.
Being a rolling call means having a monthly deadline on the last day of each month and that applications are evaluated, and grants awarded every month.
