2023 will be the European Year of Skills as announced by EU President von der Leyen. The EU will focus on promoting the importance of creative skills for the renewal of our society and our planet.
The #ECIS23 will discuss and deepen the re-skilling and up-skilling of European talents and professionals to meet the needs for the European Green Deal, digitalization and mitigating multiple crises in two main events. A kick off "Transformative skills – embrace friction to create the unexpected" with the #ECIS23 Assembly will take place on 15 February. The policy forum will include policy statements on the position of cultural and creative sector on European, national, and local level, while the stakeholder forum will focus on the question how the actors of cultural and creative sectors contribute to processes of societal transformation. The European Institute of Technology Culture and Creativity Program (EIT-CC) will be presentesd by Bernd Fesel.
