Incubator 2024 is the newest edition of the ENCC - European Network of Cultural Centres' project writing programme and consultancy retreat hosted this year by Spazju Kreattiv in Malta from 2 to 5 October 2024. By supporting the journey from project idea to funding application, the programme makes European culture funds more accessible.
By submitting an idea for a European cultural cooperation project that aims to fit into funding schemes such as Creative Europe, Erasmus+, Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, Interreg and CERV, applicants have the chance for their project to be one of 20 selected for participation in this diverse programme. The latter offers a platform to discuss and develop the presented project brief with peers of mid- to senior-level cultural professionals and experts as well as network to possibly find project partners directly amongst the cultural organisations involved in this exchange. Following the retreat, project bearers are tasked to identify the type of funding they want to apply for and further develop their project accordingly while continously being assisted by their Incubator mentors.
